So have some more art.

Uploaded two new pictures into the Artwork gallery (they're hidden, so you'll have to use the sidebar link to see them) and optimized both the CSS and the header script - making them smaller and taking advantage of a CSS feature I figured they had but didn't realize how to use until just now.

Aaaand the artwork index is back online.

Hmm. - posted by WhoopA on November 6, 2004 1:48AM
Well, I was able to almost completely recover Transcend. A couple of maps were corrupted and need to be rebuilt, but the map tree was sucessfully reconstructed. A feat not beyond the RM2k Internals Master, of course.

Well, shit. - posted by WhoopA on November 4, 2004 2:10PM
Well, got my first Blue Screen of Death; the dreaded Windows NT Stop error. One of the files that was open during the error was my local copy of the pictures index and silly me, I forgot to check the file before posting. Long story short: the artwork page is down until I can recreate the database.

Silent updates - posted by WhoopA on September 1, 2004 11:39PM
Been silently updating and refining the artwork page. There's a couple new pics there, with even more planned.

I've done a little reorganizing if you've noticed; there's been more media devisions since I've started working woth markers more. Everything I've done you can get to by means of the index so it's just a matter of looking for the new pictures.

Stranger things have happened - posted by WhoopA on August 29, 2004 12:46AM
Got a message through the email a while back... I looked at the name, and stopped dead in my tracks. Of all the people who could visit my site, Azrael (of old Graal fame) had paid a visit and dropped me a line.

Interesting stuff he told me about. He said in his message: This came to my attention and seeing how I haven't played Graal in over 4 years I must say it's pretty funny. How are we legends in your eyes?

I write back, I need to say that I dropped that comic years ago - I haven't touched it in about two, three years now. I still have an account but don't play anymore. Kind of dodging his question, I know - simply put, references to the five gods I chose are still in the game today.

Just a fast correction even though it doesn't matter anymore, he writes back. Ultimate Weapon and I went out of our ways to PK Stefan every time he was on, and I was his main beta tester. Back when there was a gold sword I was the only one with access to it. I was also known as the angel of death (Azrael) because I was the best PKer around at the time. Just a little back history.

Noble words from one of the oldest players of Graal, and it was an honor and a privelege to have him not only find my comic - but enjoy it.

Another new piece of art in the gallery. I think I've finally exhausted my Sonic kick...

Oh my god, it's not more art! - posted by WhoopA on July 18, 2004 12:41AM
Added a playlist script that takes a playlist saved in .M3U format and makes a human-readable version from it. Coded by me, of course. It's in the Miscellaneous section.

I just can't seem to shake this Sonic kick... - posted by WhoopA on July 16, 2004 2:24AM
Once again, new pic in the Artwork gallery. Only this time, it's a sketch - no CG postprocessing.

Now this is just confusing. - posted by WhoopA on July 12, 2004 12:41AM
For some reason, the artwork index won't display my latest piece of art, Metalsnatch. So I just guess I'll have to link to it here.

(Oh, now I feel stupid. I forgot to upload the thumbnail...)

Give me caffeine or give me sleep - posted by WhoopA on July 2, 2004 5:18AM
That's about the jist of it, so I'll make it quick. New piece of artwork and support forum links added to the relevant pages.

Back from the dead... - posted by WhoopA on June 30, 2004 4:47AM
Yes, that's right - the Forum has returned. This one's powered by Invision, with a PHP/MySQL backed - faster than the old one, if you still remember it. Right now it's just technical support but I can always add more forums if I need them...

Well, that was strange. - posted by WhoopA on April 29, 2004 6:26AM
And every announcement comes with a tinge of disappointment... Yup, I was redoing the Forest map in Transcend when I posted the "great news" earlier. The game was not broken beyond repair - you could follow the outlined path to the exit - but it's still disappointing.

Anyway, uploaded a fixed stylesheet and the About page. My page looks like it should in Mozilla now, and that makes me happy.

Goddamned miracle - posted by WhoopA on March 1, 2004 11:23AM
One month back, and my bandwidth is almost broken the limit. Wow - it's the first time it's even come this close to breaking my transfer.

I blame Transcend.

Never thought you'd see me again? - posted by WhoopA on March 1, 2004 11:23AM
Work is killing me, that's why. But I bring you; a BUG FREE rendition of Transcend! It's been a long time coming, but I finally froze the demo distrobution. It WILL NOT be updated, barring critical bugfixes and the release of the final version. So there you have it. And I'm having problems with the update script, so this was fudged somewhat.

Noticed 404's in my statistics... why, I do not know...

...ahh, yeah, those files weren't on the server. Fixed.

Party Follow tutorial update - posted by WhoopA on January 25, 2004 1:02PM
Indeed, now the tutorial shows you how to do a "plug-and-play" style script - plug it into a map and play without modifications to the script. No, really, check it out.

Server change! - posted by WhoopA on January 25, 2004 2:17AM
That's right, after a lack of capability with Earthlink (no MySQL? What is up with that?) I'm back with VeoWeb. Not that you'll notice or anything =P

New Writing - posted by WhoopA on January 2, 2004 2:54AM
Finished up a Yugioh fanfic I've been working on for some time now. I originally created it as a serial fanfic for a message board I frequent, and I finally finished it. Here it is for your perusal.
